Seeing Boating in Phang Nga bay became one of the most famous activities for the tourists when they visit Andaman because there are more than 42 islands for you to see such a beautiful landscape. For the boating trip, they will take you to visit “Hong Island”; the island which is a twin of Hong island in Krabi, “Phanak Island” where you can see a cave and stalactites, “Khao Tapu”; a nail-shaped island, a solitary pillar in the sea. It is the most remarkable attraction of Ao Phang Nga National Park which has become a popular touristic site since it was featured in the James Bond movie; The Man with the Golden Gun in 1974; for this reason, it is also often referred to as James Bond island, “Khao Phing Kan”; Named so because of its nature of being split into two halves, smaller rock slid down, with its foundation stuck under the ground and the upper parts still leaning against each other. Behind the mountain is a superb scenery, and “Koh Panyee”; a towering limestone outcrop jutting out of the sea, below you can see the limestone hill, a Muslim village on stilts has developed. Many tourist brochures call it a floating village of sea gypsies. However, the village is not floating and the inhabitants, although are not sea gypsies, but rather permanent settlers who depend on the sea for their livelihood.
